Chycarne Farm Self Catering Cottages - Terms and Conditions
1). The cottages are offered subject to their being vacant at
the time of receipt of deposit.
2). A deposit of £50 per week per cottage to be paid at the time
of booking (not refundable) for holidays up to £200 and £100
deposit per week per cottage for holidays over £200 per week
with the balance to be paid two calendar months in advance of
arrival.
3). Telephone bookings can be accepted and will be held for 3
days. They must be confirmed in writing with deposit promptly.
Please use 1st class mail.
4). A receipt will be sent to you for the deposit, by return of
post or email confirming your booking. We will refund your
deposit in full if we are unable to accept your booking. If
payment is made by credit/debit card the refund will be to that
card.
5). For ample cleaning, maintenance and inspection, cottages
cannot be occupied until 3.30pm on day of arrival and must be
left clean and tidy by 10am on day of departure. Any damage or
breakage to our property and or contents are your own
responsibility during your stay and should be reported and paid
for at our discretion.
6). Visitors are responsible for their own personal possessions
and we regret we cannot be held responsible for loss or injury
to any person, property or vehicle by accident or any other
cause during your stay, nor for the unavailability of any
amenity or service due to circumstances beyond our control.
7). The cottages are let on the understanding that not more than
the specified number
of persons shown and named on the booking form occupy the
accommodation. Each child counts as one person. One booking form
per cottage. Please advise us by telephone of any alterations
you may wish to make to this booking as soon as possible prior
to your holiday. This must be confirmed in writing before your
arrival. Any changes after arrival will be subject to a charge.
8) Well behaved dogs are welcome, provided they are kept under
control at all times and on a lead when outside the cottage.
They must not be left unattended in the cottages or allowed on
the furniture. All dogs must be exercised off the site or in the
dog enclosure where they may be let off the lead.
9) Please note that all the cottages are non smoking areas, we
thank you for your co-operation.
10). In order that you may enjoy your holiday we aim to provide
you with peaceful surroundings, we therefore reserve the right
to evict anyone who, in our opinion causes any excess
disturbance, which we consider may be spoiling other people’s
holiday.
11). When you book a holiday you are entering into a legally
binding contract. If you have to cancel or cut short your
holiday for whatever reason, you will be liable to pay the whole
amount. If we can re-let the accommodation we will refund your
balance less any cancellation charges we may have to make. In
your best interests, we therefore strongly advise you to take
out holiday and cancelled booking insurance to safeguard your
holiday.
